Regional seminars for university teachers organized in the framework of Tempus project «National Education Framework for Enhancing IT Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship» (NEFESIE) took place in Odessa National Polytechnic University May 16, 2014.
The objectives of the seminars were to accept and understand the results and planned activities of the project and involve Ukrainian university teachers to participate in the national eco-system of student innovation.
More than 40 representatives of universities from Odessa and Kherson region as well as representatives from Ukrainian partner universities took part in the seminar.
During the seminar participants got to know:
- results of analysis of supply and demand on courses in innovation and entrepreneurship field;
- basic models of interaction between universities, companies and other stakeholders;
- innovation ecosystem conception and Virtual Innovation Space;
- planned events to intensify innovation of students.
The main objective of this project is the stimulation of synergy between educational programs in IT field, research projects and business innovation.
Tempus is a program of the European Union, which supports the modernization of higher education in the partner countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean mainly through university cooperation projects.
